LiAZ-6213.21

LiAZ-6213

- an articulated low-floor city bus with an especially large capacity produced by the Likinsky Bus Plant, the first bus of this type in Russia. Designed for large cities with intense and super-intensive passenger flows. Serial production began in 2008; from November 2014 to October 2016, production was frozen.

As of May 2020, 1,808 copies of LiAZ-6213 buses were previously produced; they are operated in Almaty, Veliky Novgorod, Voronezh, Mezhdurechensk[2], Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novomichurinsk[2], Novomoskovsk[2], St. St. Petersburg, Severodvinsk, Togliatti[2] and Tyumen. For some time they worked in Vologda.

Diesel engine versions

6213.00

The first copy of the LiAZ-6213 was released in 2004, in the same year it was first demonstrated to the public at the Motor Show 2004. The first Russian low-floor articulated bus at that time had a power unit identical to the LiAZ-6212 - Caterpillar-3126, located transversely, automatic gearbox and sliding doors. It remained the only LiAZ-6213 modification .00. In 2008, this body was converted into a trolleybus, receiving the index LiAZ-6213T (later LiAZ-6236), it was sent for testing to the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv, and later worked in the Bulgarian city of Pernik. Currently, a trolleybus has been spotted in Lviv[3].

6213.20

In 2007, based on the experimental model LiAZ 6213.00, a new bus was created, designated LiAZ-6213.20

. It differed from it in the new MAN D0836LOH02 engine and ZF-6HP504C automatic transmission. The layout of the rear part of the cabin has also changed due to the change in engine location to longitudinal. The bus received the factory designation 6213.20 and was tested in the 14th bus depot in Moscow[4].

Since 2008, serial production of these machines began. Such buses arrived in Moscow and St. Petersburg in 2008-2010. In 2008-2009 LiAZ salons for Moscow were assembled at the Tushino-Avto plant. The interior design changed with each delivery. Available in 2008-2009. The interior trim was made of gray plastic, with green handrails and seats with blue leatherette[5]. Available in 2009-2010. The color of the seats became light brown. In addition, “convex” doors with continuous glazing appeared (which was not present in the first delivered series)[6]. In May-June 2010 (third delivery), the design and coloring of the interiors were again updated. The cabin and interior trim are not dark gray, but light beige. The floor became green with yellow splashes, the handrails became yellow instead of green. The seats are blue or dark green fabric. The lamps have a different shape, with a central location in the form of a line. The exterior paint scheme has also changed somewhat. Also, for the first time, double-glazed windows were installed on city buses[7]. The motor began to operate much quieter, the noise level decreased[8]. The last LiAZ-6213.20 buses delivered to Moscow came with air conditioning and were sent to the 17th bus depot. The last buses of this model arrived in St. Petersburg in 2012, to the 2nd and 7th bus depots of the State Unitary Enterprise Passazhiravtotrans.

6213.21

The first bus was built in 2008 and is currently operating in Tyumen. Subsequently, buses have been produced since December 2010. The differences from the LiAZ-6213.20 are that it is equipped with a MAN D0836LOH55 engine (6.9 l, 280 hp, Euro-4) instead of a MAN D0836LOH02 (6.8 l, 278 hp, Euro-3). Also, these cars have a new interior design, developed by the company KORA (Naberezhnye Chelny)[9]: there are different seats, a new design of handrails and a new type of lamps. The first batch of such buses, 10 in number, arrived as tests at the 14th bus depot of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans at the end of 2010. Passengers of 14 AP made a request to install cabin air conditioners in buses, and since the summer of 2011, buses of this model have been equipped with Hella head optics and two air conditioners (initially Spheros, then Konvekta), Pilot seats have been replaced with seats from the Tushinsky Machine-Building Plant. Several buses (latest delivery) operating in Moscow are equipped with a MAN engine (Euro-5), which was the impetus for the design of a new modification - LiAZ-6213.22

.

In 2013, 30 buses of this modification were delivered to Vologda, but were later seized by the leasing company due to non-payment of lease payments. In April 2020, part of the buses from this batch (3 pieces) arrived in Voronezh (TK Avtoline+ LLC) and is currently operating on route No. 64. In May 2020, another part of the buses from this batch (8 pieces) arrived in Severodvinsk (carrier LLC Yukas). In December 2020 - April 2020, a third of the buses from the same batch (13 pieces) arrived at various bus fleets in Veliky Novgorod.

6213.22

In the spring of 2012, at the Busworld Russia exhibition (Nizhny Novgorod), the LiAZ-6213.22 bus was presented in a livery[10] similar to buses designed for high-speed express bus routes in Moscow. The bus has an engine that meets the Euro-5 environmental standard, and an experimental interior layout with an increased number of seats (41 seats instead of 31 for production buses), and was then tested in the factory. The tests were successful, and in 2013 buses of the LiAZ-6213.22 modification were put into mass production.

At the beginning of June, the first LiAZ-6213.22 arrived in Nizhny Novgorod, where it was tested and put into operation. Operates on route 1. In the future, the city administration planned to purchase 35 of these vehicles, but in the end the total number of buses purchased was 30[11].

Modification 6213.22-01 is equipped with a training cabin inside the bus.

Starting in the fall of 2014, buses supplied to Moscow are painted blue, and to other regions - white.

Serial production of the LiAZ-6213.22 modification has been discontinued due to an increase in the price of the MAN engine. In 2020, it was planned to put into serial production a bus modification LiAZ-6213.22-77 with the same engine as the LiAZ-5292.22-77. In connection with the intensification of the import substitution process, production of the LiAZ-6213.65-77 modification with a YaMZ engine began in the fall of the same year.

6213.65

6213.65-77

Modification of an articulated bus based on the LiAZ-5292.65-77 bus. The passage in the rear part of the bus was increased, a third seat was added in front of the engine shaft, the engine shaft was enlarged, and the optics of the front and rear of the bus were changed. The bus went into serial production in mid-September 2016.

The first 50 “accordions” of this modification arrived at the Moscow 17th bus depot in October 2020. At the end of 2020, another 65 buses of this modification arrived under a life cycle contract, and from March 2020, deliveries of buses of this modification began to some bus fleets and branches; as of May 2020, 395 buses of this model are in use in Moscow. Since May 2020, production of a modernized version of the modification has begun, characterized by a completely low-floor design and an increase in the length of the bus. The rear route indicator is raised up; during stops, the following inscription is displayed at the bottom: STOP and a passenger on the stairs, which goes out when leaving the stops. In the cabin of the latest deliveries, there is no view through the glass at the back of the bus - instead of glass, there is a plastic window substitute. In order to improve the comfort of passengers, it was decided to abandon the installation of three seats in front of the engine shaft. Changes have once again occurred in the supply of buses in 2020 - now the word STOP and the passenger on the stairs do not go out when leaving the stops, but are replaced by the word “THANK YOU”, the air conditioners are now blue instead of white. The first bus of this modification arrived for testing in St. Petersburg, two more were sent to Tyumen directly to the line, after which the newest modification was put into mass production[12]. In February 2020, 49 buses of this modification arrived in Tyumen, and 20 buses of this modification arrived in Almaty. The bulk of new buses arrived in Moscow, half of which were delivered to the site of the Silikatnaya Branch “Zapadny” (former 5th bus depot) of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans due to the transition to “KZhTs”.

LiAZ-6213

6213.00

The first copy of the LiAZ-6213 was released in 2004, in the same year it was first demonstrated to the public at the Motor Show 2004. The first Russian low-floor articulated bus at that time had a power unit identical to the LiAZ-6212 - Caterpillar-3126E, located transversely, automatic three-speed Voith gearbox model Diwa D 863.3E with bevel gear, Rába portal axles, Hubner HNGK 19.5 articulation unit and tilt-sliding doors. It remained the only LiAZ-6213 modification .00. In 2008, this body was converted into a trolleybus, receiving the index LiAZ-6213T (later LiAZ-6236). The car was sent for testing to the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv, and then worked for some time [ clarify

] in the Bulgarian city of Pernik. Starting in 2020, the trolleybus stood idle in Lviv[5], but on July 18, 2020 it was transported to Lutsk[6].

6213.20

In 2007, based on the experimental model LiAZ 6213.00, a new bus was created, designated LiAZ-6213.20

. It differed from it in the new MAN D0836LOH02 engine, ZF Ecomat 6 HP 504 C automatic transmission, and portal axles. Drive axle ZF AV-132/87, middle axle ZF AVN-132, front axle ZF RL-85A, steering gear 8098 Servokom. The layout of the rear part of the cabin has also changed due to the change in engine location to longitudinal. The bus received the factory designation 6213.20 and was tested in the 14th bus depot in Moscow[7].

Since 2008, serial production of these machines began. Such buses arrived in Moscow and St. Petersburg in 2008-2010. In 2008-2012 LiAZ salons for Moscow were assembled at the Tushino-Avto plant. The lamps have a different shape, with a central location in the form of a line. The exterior paint scheme has also changed somewhat. Also, for the first time, double-glazed windows were installed on city buses[10]. In addition, the MAN D0836 LOH40 engine began to be installed on buses, which began to operate much quieter and the noise level decreased[11]. One of the LiAZ-6213.20 buses, delivered to Moscow in 2010, came with air conditioning and was sent to the 17th bus depot. The last buses of this model arrived in St. Petersburg in 2012, to the 2nd and 7th bus depots of the State Unitary Enterprise Passazhiravtotrans. Starting from 2014, buses of this modification began to be written off (the first two were written off as a result of fire and accident; 06958 and 17302), in 2020 three buses of this modification were written off (as a result of fire; 10172 and 15280 and equipment wear), in 2020 there were two buses of this modification were written off (due to fire and an accident; 7444 from St. Petersburg and 14255 from Moscow.) Mass write-offs of buses of this modification began in the spring of 2020 due to wear and tear of equipment, failure of MAN engines[ significance of the fact?

]. As of July 2020, there are 163/40 PS units in Moscow. In ZelAK, the modification is forever a thing of history, in the branches “, the modification is forever a thing of history, because all the buses have been removed from service and are awaiting cutting.

6213.21

The first bus was built in 2008 and is currently operating in Tyumen. Subsequently, buses have been produced since December 2010. The differences from the LiAZ-6213.20 are that it is equipped with a MAN D0836LOH55 (Euro-4) engine instead of a MAN D0836LOH40 (Euro-3). In 2012, a completely new bus 14180 burned down in Moscow, but because of its novelty they did not write it off and instead they made a new body and put the VIN number and registration number on the new car.

In 2013, 30 buses of this modification were delivered to Vologda, but were later seized by the leasing company due to non-payment of lease payments. In April 2020, three buses from this batch arrived in Voronezh (TK Avtoline+ LLC) and until the end of November 2018 worked on route No. 64, however, due to the high cost of operation, they returned to Yaroslavl again, and then were transferred to Veliky Novgorod. [13][14]

In May 2020, another part of the buses from this batch (8 pieces) arrived in Severodvinsk (carrier Yukas LLC). In December 2020 - April 2020, a third of the buses from the same batch (13 pieces) arrived at various bus fleets in Veliky Novgorod.

6213.22

In the spring of 2012, at the Busworld Russia exhibition (Nizhny Novgorod), the LiAZ-6213.22 bus was presented in a livery[15] similar to buses designed for high-speed express bus routes in Moscow. The bus has a MAN D0836 LOH64 engine that meets the Euro 5 environmental standard, an EcoLife 6 AP 1200 B gearbox and an experimental interior layout with an increased number of seats (41 seats instead of 31 for serial buses), and was then tested in the factory. The tests were successful, and in 2013 buses of the LiAZ-6213.22 modification were put into mass production.

At the beginning of June, the first LiAZ-6213.22 arrived in Nizhny Novgorod, where it was tested and put into operation. Operates on route 1. In the future, the city administration planned to purchase 35 of these vehicles, but in the end the total number of buses purchased was 30[16].

6213.22-01

This modification of the bus is equipped with a training cabin inside the bus. Everything else coincides with LiAZ-6213.22.

6213.65

6213.65-77

Modification of an articulated bus in a restyled body version based on the LiAZ-5292.65-77 bus. The passage in the rear part of the bus was increased, a third seat was added in front of the engine shaft, the engine shaft was enlarged, and the optics of the front and rear of the bus were changed. The bus went into serial production in mid-September 2020.

The first 50 “accordions” of this modification arrived at the Moscow 17th bus depot in October 2020. At the end of 2020, another 65 buses of this modification arrived under a life cycle contract, and in March 2020, deliveries of buses of this modification began to some bus fleets and branches.

In May 2020, production of a bus began in a new version of the rear section of the body, characterized by a completely low-floor design (the step at the third door was removed by moving the third door back) and an increase in the length of the bus.

6213.65-79

At the end of 2020, production of a new modification of the bus began with a new dashboard and a new on-board computer from Continental, with an electrically adjustable steering wheel. It has two monitors in the bus interior, four USB chargers for smartphones, and a 360-degree video viewing system. The buses do not have ventilation hatches in the bus ceiling; an additional light indicator is installed. The route sign is raised upward, and during stops the following inscription is displayed at the bottom: STOP and a passenger on the stairs, which previously went out when leaving stops (after reprogramming it was replaced by the inscription “THANK YOU”). Due to the installation of an additional indicator in the rear window area, a plastic window substitute is installed. In addition, buttons have been added to open doors for passengers both outside and inside the bus. The buttons are activated at the discretion of the driver. In order to improve the comfort of passengers, it was decided to abandon the installation of three seats in front of the engine shaft. Since the end of 2020, buses have been arriving in Moscow at the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans, half of which are at the Silikatnaya site of the Zapadny branch (former 5th bus depot) of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans due to the transition to a life cycle contract (LCC) . The 2020 modification has also undergone a number of changes - in addition to the above-mentioned changes, now the air conditioners are painted blue along with the body.

At the end of 2020, production of an updated modification began, externally distinguished by light green route indicators, similar to those installed in the LiAZ-6274.00 electric buses produced in 2020. Due to the abandonment of the turnstile mode in Moscow ground transport, the seats in the bus interior are equipped in the same manner as for the regions of Russia (namely, the seats on the front arches have been returned). A number of changes have been made to the passenger information notification system - instead of a ticker board, another monitor is used, which is similarly used for broadcasting internal content. The color of the handrails is similar to the 2020 electric buses. The validator itself has moved closer to the first door, and the driver signal buttons have also changed; they have become much smaller in size. Now, when the driver presses the signal button, an audible alarm sounds. An additional red indicator appeared above the doors. On the roof of the buses, additional equipment appeared on the front of the first door, such as a loudspeaker. Starting with new deliveries, the THANK YOU sign under the rear route indicator began to flash.

Buses produced from 2020 to March 2020 also have an update. The route indicators are now different colors, the route indicator at the back of the bus has become smaller, and the THANK YOU inscription has become larger. A batch of these buses began to arrive and immediately enter the line of the Vvedenskaya Site of the Cheryomushkinsky branch of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans due to the transition of this site to the KZhTs [17].

6213.65-80

These buses are equipped with a training cabin, the design of the partition is similar to the usual one, but has a somewhat “flattened” appearance due to its location relative to the axis of the body. In addition, the training cabin has become slightly larger than on previous LiAZ-6213.22-01 training buses. Due to the installation of the instructor's cabin, it was necessary to change the location of some seats in the cabin. Everything else coincides with the modification LiAZ-6213.65-79. Buses of this modification started mass production at the end of 2017.

6213.65-97

Buses produced since March 2020 have another update - now the front and rear are identical to the LiAZ-6274 electric buses, everything else will be known only after the updated buses are delivered to Moscow after August 2020. The first batches of the updated buses have already been manufactured and are being prepared for shipment to Moscow, where they will also arrive at the Vvedenskaya Site of the Cheryomushkinsky branch of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans along with accordions of the previous design. The bus was assigned a new modification. In addition to the Vvedenskaya site of the Cheryomushkinsky branch, buses of the new modification will also go to the Novokosinskaya site of the Vostochny branch[18][19].

Gas engine versions

6213.67

Modification of an articulated bus based on the LiAZ-5292.67 model with a gas version of the YaMZ-53624-40 diesel engine. It is possible to install a Voith Diwa 864.3E or ZF 6AP-1400B gearbox. The launch into mass production was planned for July 2020, but due to the lack of orders in this configuration, not a single copy of this bus was produced.

6213.67-77

Gas modification of an articulated bus based on the LiAZ-5292.67-77 bus with an increase in the passage in the rear of the bus, an enlarged engine shaft and new optics for the front and rear of the bus. The launch of the bus into mass production will begin in November 2018.

6213.70

The first copy of the bus of this modification was released in 2010. Differences from the LiAZ-6213.20 are the presence of a Cummins CGe4-280 engine running on compressed natural gas and an Allison T-325R automatic transmission. Gas cylinders are located on the roof of the body. Currently, 10 such buses operate in the 11th Moscow bus depot. The interior of nine buses is similar to 6213.20 delivered in 2010. The tenth bus, which received tail number 11487, was initially an exhibition model; it was on it that the new interior and the new design of the front mask for buses of the LiAZ-6213 family were first shown. Due to serious problems with the operation of engines of the Cummins CGe4-280 model at the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans, this modification was replaced in 2012 by the LiAZ-6213.71 modification.

6213.71

Buses of this modification are equipped with a gas engine model MAN E0836 LOH01 and a gearbox model ZF Ecolife. For the city of Moscow, buses of the LIAZ-6213.71 model are equipped with a climate system, GLONASS equipment, an automated travel control system, temperature sensors, route indicators, an electronic digital tachograph with the ability to count personal driver cards. Video cameras are installed in the driver's cabin and in the cabin to monitor the situation on the bus. At the moment, all buses of this brand that are operated in Moscow are gradually starting to enter the line (previously, for almost a year, the buses were temporarily removed from service due to the explosion of a gas cylinder on bus 11 AP LiAZ-5293.70). The buses' gas cylinders were completely replaced with safer ones.
