- The powerful engine has four valves per cylinder, is equipped with turbocharging, intercooler, electronic control, cooling system, pre-heater and fuel injection. These components play a supporting and, at the same time, decisive role for the safe and uninterrupted operation of the engine at any time of the year. As a result of numerous improvements, it was possible not only to reduce the volume of harmful emissions, but also to increase power and efficiency. Massey Ferguson's extensive manufacturing program allows us to respond to any of these requests. Thanks to the wide offer of tractors with a power of 130 HP. With. for example, we were easily able to select as many as three “classmates”: • Massey Ferguson 6713 Essential with a synchronized 12/12 gearbox; • Massey Ferguson 5713S Effi cient with Dyna 6 gearbox; • Massey Ferguson 6713S Exclusive with Dyna VT continuously variable transmission.
You should take into account in advance the fact that the simplest model, MF 6713 in the tested version, will cost only 80,000 euros according to the price list (all prices are given with VAT), while the cost of the 5713S tractor will be almost 140,000 euros, and the participant under number 6713S – will exceed as much as 170,000 euros! Agree, this is quite a good reason to take a closer look at our models. If the series of simple “global tractors” were numbered from 4707 to 4713 (instead of the classification 4700/5700/6700), this, according to the editors of profi, could clearly make the task easier.
However, let's start with the engine. While models 6713 and 5713S are content with a 4.4-liter “four” from Agco Power (formerly Sisu), participant number 6713S received at its disposal the same power unit, but with a piston stroke increased to 134 mm and working volume increased by half a liter (4.9 l). For comparison: the piston stroke of its relatives remained within 120 mm. All three powertrains, thanks to the Selective Reduction Catalyst (SCR) and Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), comply with Stage IV emissions standards, even without a diesel particulate filter or exhaust gas recirculation.
It was with great anticipation that profi editors waited to see how different the results obtained on the PTO measuring stand at the test center of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) would turn out to be. Well, since the Massey Ferguson company indicates only maximum power in its brochures, we had to limit ourselves to only these data. From 96 kW / 130 l. s., which, according to the information given in the prospectus, is developed by the “commoner” engine number 6713, exactly 83.2 kW came to the PTO; This is where it all comes together. For the 5713S tractor, the PTO produced 88.4 kW, that is, even a couple of “horses” more than stated, which indicates a more successful setting.

Being in this car, you feel proud of someone else's auto industry. This device has the highest performance - which is worth the engine with a capacity of over 350 horsepower, as well as the high off-road potential of the wheeled chassis. The interior has all the necessary controls, including levers and switches, as well as a full-function color display showing important parameters. It's relatively quiet, comfortable and cozy inside, despite the obsessive rattling of the diesel engine. In general, you can talk in a low voice in the cabin. In addition, the cabin is quite spacious and there are no problems with visibility. Among the drawbacks of practicality, I note that the interior is too light, which quickly gets dirty. Well, I got this version, what can I do? In general, we have very few such machines, but they can replace several mini-tractors at once.
