If you need to transport large equipment or you need to transport several cars at once, you will need an additional transportation permit. You can get it from the traffic police department. It is issued in cases where the dimensions of the special equipment together with the vehicle on which the transportation will be carried out exceed 20x2.55x4 m. In this case, a traffic route is first developed, which is certified by the traffic police. The permit may be issued for one or several trips, but is valid only for the transportation of special equipment with the same technical characteristics and dimensions.

Warning signs and warning lights (flash beacons) required by the rules are installed on the vehicle. In the event that individual elements of cargo or trucks protrude into the oncoming lane, an escort is required. A company car or traffic police vehicle is used for escort.

Registration of permits and collection of documents
Standards for paperwork for oversized cargo transportation dictate:
- Rules for the carriage of goods by road;
- Instructions of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the transportation of large-sized and heavy cargo.
Tractors are classified as oversized.
