Complaints about the life of the engine turbine are due to improper operation and maintenance of the unit. The main mistake is operating the turbine at high speeds without achieving the optimal temperature to ensure lubrication of the bearings of the unit.

Transmission

The clutch is a friction double-disc permanently closed with mechanical control. The friction linings of the discs are asbestos-free.

The gearbox allows the vehicle to move forward from 1.54 to 35 km/h in 16 gears and backward from 2.75 to 16.4 km/h in 8 speeds. The gearbox is stepped, with constant mesh gears, synchronized, has four ranges of four forward speeds - two high and two low, and two reverse speeds - one low and one high, in each range. To obtain additional speeds (4 forward and 4 reverse) for operation at ultra-low speeds, the tractor is equipped with a creeper. The equipment reduces transmissions of the first range by 4.5 times.
