The instrument panel displays the main sensor readings and general information, which allows the driver to monitor the performance indicators of the bulldozer.
External equipment and electrical equipment T-170
______________________________________________________________________________________________
External equipment of the T-170 tractor External equipment includes: hood, platform, platform, cabin, seat, fuel tank, heating system and ventilation. The hood of the T-170 tractor consists of a roof (front and rear). The front hood cover is double-leaf, the right flap, which opens on hinges, is fixed in the closed position with latches, and in the open position with the help of a stop. The rear hood cover is bolted to the hydraulic tanks and rear support of the diesel engine. The radiator grille is attached to the hydraulic tanks with bolts. The hood has six flaps (3 right, 3 left), one flap on each side that opens and is secured with 4 latches. Floor and platform T-170 The floor consists of three removable panels attached to the platform. Panels are composed of two metal sheets with thermal insulation material laid between them. A rubber mat is placed on the cabin floor. The welded platform is installed on the lower shock absorbers and is bolted through the upper shock absorbers until it stops, which ensures even tightening. The lower shock absorbers are installed in cast brackets that are attached to the tractor frame. A cabin is installed on the platform. The frame-type cabin of the T-170 tractor is an all-welded structure made of rectangular pipes and decorative panels. Large glass area and rear view mirror provide improved visibility. The cabin interior is made of sound-absorbing plastic panels. In the cabin, the front and rear windows are equipped with windshield wipers with a pantograph device for parallel stroke of the brushes (with a lever swing angle of 45°), a sunshade, a rear-view mirror and a heater-fan. The doors of the T-170 cabin have a lock for the open position and are closed: the left one with a key, the right one from the inside with a latch. The cabin has a seat that is adjustable according to the height, weight of the tractor driver and the angle of the backrest. The seat can be adjusted freely. Rotate the handle to adjust the seat height. When the handle is rotated clockwise, the seat is lowered; when rotated counterclockwise, it is raised. To move the seat forward or backward, you must unscrew the wing nuts and, after moving the seat to the desired position, tighten the wing nuts. Air enters the cabin through a heater radiator installed on the roof of the cabin. The heater radiator is connected through a piping system to the diesel cooling system. The supply heater fan with centrifugal purification of air taken from the space above the cabin is driven by an electric motor. The heater is turned on by a tap located on the engine block on the right side, and the fan is turned on by a switch located on the control panel. The heater can operate in the following modes: Heated outside air enters the cabin. To do this, pull the rod located on the cabin ceiling downwards, opening the hole in the outer heater casing. At low outside temperatures and to ensure intensive heating of the air in the cabin, the hole in the outer casing is closed by moving the rod upward. In this case, air is taken from the cabin, heated and re-entered into the cabin. In the warm season, the hydraulic line is closed with a tap on the block and the heater operates in ventilation mode. Using the grille located in the casing on the cabin ceiling, you can change the direction of air flow. The temperature of the air entering the cabin can be adjusted by opening the valve, changing the flow area for the coolant. Electrical equipment of the T-170 bulldozer Generator 966.3701 of the T-170 tractor is a contactless five-phase electric machine with one-way electromagnetic excitation, built-in semiconductor rectifier and electronic voltage regulator. On the back cover of the generator there are leads (terminals): “+” - for connecting batteries and load; “D” - for connecting the generator blocking relay when starting the diesel engine with the starter (for a tractor with ESSP) and the operating time counter. To ensure normal operation of the generator when operating at different times of the year, there is also a switch on the back cover for seasonal adjustment of the voltage regulator. The T-170 generator is installed on the casing of the diesel timing gears on the right side of the engine. The generator is driven by a belt from the fan pulley. The voltage regulator built into the generator is designed to automatically maintain the generator voltage within specified limits, regardless of the rotation speed of the generator armature. Rechargeable batteries Tractor rechargeable batteries are designed to power the starter and other electrical consumers when the diesel engine is not running. Batteries are installed in containers: 6ST-75TM - two in one container; 6ST-182EMS - one in each container. The batteries are connected in series to each other, and in parallel to the generator. Starter of the T-170 tractor To start the starting engine, a starter 42.3701 is used, which is a direct current electric motor with forced engagement of the drive gear with the gear flywheel of the starting engine and self-switching off of the gear after starting the diesel engine. The starter is controlled remotely. The starter is powered by one 12 V battery. On a tractor with an electric starting system for the T-170 diesel engine, a starter 251.3708 is used, which is also a DC electric motor, with forced electromechanical engagement of the gear with the ring gear of the diesel flywheel and self-switching off of the gear after starting, which differs from that described higher with more power. The starter is powered by a voltage of 24 V. An electromagnetic traction relay is used to engage the gear with the flywheel ring and turn on the starter power circuit, and a drive with a freewheel is used to automatically turn off the gear (after starting). On the T-170M1.01 tractor, its modifications and configurations, two types of electrical equipment are used: - for tractors with a P-23U starting engine; for tractors with ESOP diesel engines. The electrical equipment of the T-170 tractor with a starting engine consists of the following systems: starting engine ignition system; starting engine starting systems, lighting and alarm systems; systems of control and measuring instruments (devices), ventilation and windshield cleaning. The electrical equipment of a tractor with diesel ESSP, instead of ignition and starting engine start systems, has a diesel electric starter system. Electrical diagrams of the T-170 tractor Electrical diagrams consist of standardized elements in accordance with their designation on the diagrams. The elements in the circuits are connected by wires combined into bundles. The color of the insulation on the wires is arbitrary. The ends of the wires are numbered. The starting engine ignition system consists of a magneto, two spark plugs, two high voltage wires, switching devices and an interlock device. The starting engine starting system consists of a starter with a switch, wires supplying power and is designed to facilitate starting the starting engine. A special feature of the system is that the starter is connected to a voltage of 12V, i.e. to one battery. During operation, it is recommended to swap batteries. The diesel electric starting system consists of a starter with a switch, an electric torch device (EFD), contactors, a blocking relay, a switch and connecting wires. A special feature of the system is the presence of an electronic control unit, turning off the generator excitation winding when starting using the electronic control unit and blocking the starter when the gearbox range lever is engaged in the operating position. The electric torch device is designed to facilitate starting a diesel engine with a starter at an ambient temperature from 0 ° C to minus 15 ° C and to preliminarily prepare the diesel engine to accept the load. The lighting and alarm system is designed to illuminate the tractor driver’s workplace and the work area in the dark. External lighting is provided by 6 headlights: two in front under the hood and four (two each in front and rear) on the roof of the cab. The T-170M 1.03-51 tractors are equipped with additional headlights. Lighting of the tractor driver's workplace is provided by one lamp. Illumination of hard-to-reach places is carried out with a portable lamp. The headlights are turned on using the corresponding key on the switch block according to the symbolic signs on the control panel. To connect lighting and sound alarms to trailed implements, a socket is attached to the fuel tank. On the inside of the socket cover the contacts are numbered in Roman numerals. Electrical lighting and alarm circuits are protected by fuses. The system of instrumentation, ventilation and windshield cleaning is designed to control the operating modes of systems and mechanisms of T-170 bulldozers. Scale instruments measure: oil pressure in the diesel lubrication system; coolant temperature in the diesel cooling system; voltage of the tractor on-board electrical network. The electrical circuit of the instrument lighting is protected by a 2A fuse. The minimum pressure in the gearbox lubrication system is controlled. When the pressure drops below a critical value, the corresponding warning lamp on the instrument panel lights up. In the hydraulic system, the clogging of the hydraulic system filter is monitored. When the maximum clogging level is reached, the clogging indicator lamp goes out. The clogging of the filter cartridges of the diesel air cleaner is monitored. When the maximum contamination level is reached, the control lamp of the blockage indicator lights up steadily. The ownership of instrumentation and warning lamps on the instrument panel is indicated by symbols.
